In 2009, the largest IT-exhibition of Europe missed a quarter of the participants.

The number of participants in Europe's largest IT-exhibition CeBIT in 2009 will decline by more than a quarter - up to 4300 companies, reports IDG News. A year ago, took part in CeBIT 5845 companies.

According to organizers, the majority of companies that refuse to participate in CeBIT 2009, are China, South Korea and Taiwan. Many of them have had to close because of the economic crisis.
