Microsoft has sold 8 million Xbox 360 in EMEA-region.

The company Microsoft has been able to sell more than 8 million Xbox 360 game consoles in Europe, Africa and the Middle East (the so-called EMEA-region) by the end of 2008. That was reported by MCV, referring to official statements by the representatives of the corporation. One of the vice presidents of Microsoft, Chris Lewis (Chris Lewis) said that last Christmas was the most successful in all six of the history of Xbox brand in Europe.
The company also noted that sales of Xbox 360 has almost doubled over the same period last year. This console has been able to increase its isolation from the PlayStation 3 in the region. According to Microsoft, Xbox 360 is now ahead of its main competitor by more than a million sold prefixes.
Recall that by the end of November, Microsoft has sold over 25 million Xbox 360 worldwide. This allowed the console ahead of its predecessor. Note also that at the moment Xbox 360 has the second race in the current-generation consoles, behind Wii. However, it is one of the most affordable gaming systems on the market.
