Company MSI will begin selling a hybrid netbuk U115 in February this year, reports IDG News. In the first phase, it can be bought in the U.S. only. Netbuk will be worth less than 700 dollars.
The main features of MSI U115 is a hybrid storage system and for a long time offline. Thus, within netbuka together with the hard drive of up to 160 gigabyte SSD-drive installed capacity of eight or 16 gigabytes.
Depending on configuration, U115 comes with a battery of six or nine cells. In the first case being the autonomous work netbuka limited to 12 hours, in the second - 20 hours.
At the core of MSI U115 is based on the processor Intel Atom Z530, running at a frequency of 1.6 gigagertsa. Skærmdiagonal Laptop is ten inches. As an operating system for the U115 can be installed either Windows XP, or Windows Vista Basic.
First netbuki MSI were presented at the end of April 2008. They are equipped with displays with a diagonal of 8.9 and 10 inches and are based on the Intel Atom. In the U.S., their value does not exceed 550 dollars.
