Corp. AMD accused Intel of deliberate delaying EU antitrust investigation. AMD has in mind the appeal Intel, filed in one of the highest courts of Europe - the Court of First Instance in Luxembourg. Intel refutes this allegation completely.
The appeal called Intel presented it to the European Commission charged discriminatory, as well as part of a larger action, against the largest manufacturer of processors in the world. Intel requires it to provide access to AMD, quoted in the charges against the European Commission, the chief European Union competition authority.
The European Commission suspects that Intel sells processors for low prices and paid collectors computers and networks of stores for the use of its decisions. Initiated antitrust proceedings is the main competitor of Intel, AMD.
The European Union has accused Intel of violating antitrust laws in July 2007. In 2008, a similar investigation began chief prosecutor of New York. In addition, Intel claims to have already submitted the Korean and Japanese antimonopolschiki.
