Olympus has created a cell with 26 times optical zoom.

Company Olympus at CES 2009 introduced a digital camera with a 26-fold optical zoom, reports PC World. It is called Olympus SP-590 UZ, and is equipped with a 12-megapixel matrix.
Lens Camera Olympus SP-590 UZ is the equivalent of the lens with a focal length of 26-676 millimeters to 35 mm SLR cameras. In the new sales will come in March at a price of 450 dollars.
