British mobilniki ahead with MP3 CD-players sales fivefold.

Over the past two years in Britain were sold 44 million mobile phones with MP3-playback features of files, writes PC World, with reference to data Entertainment Retailers Association. At the same time, CD-players were sold only 8 million, that is 5.5 times less.
From September 2007 to September 2008 were sold to 32.1 million MP3-devices. However, 75 percent of them went to the mobile phone. Currently, 90 percent sold in Britain mobilnikov can play MP3-files.
In ERA, uniting 200 companies, who are 5000 British stores, notes that MP3 is the fastest growing music format. It is gaining popularity faster than vinyl, cassette and CD.
